On Going Program

Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) – a USA based organization is also providing sponsorship for JA Nepal. A high level CIPE’s delegates visited JA Nepal. The delegation includes Dr. John D. Sullivan, Executive Director, Mr. Andrew Wilson, Senior Program Officer, and Ms.Brooke Millis, Program Officer responsible for South Asia visited JA Nepal, Kathmandu on May 4, 2007. The main purpose of their visit is to get first hand information of the sponsored program and discuss for further support matters relating to the expansion of the program. Meanwhile, one of the CIPE’s delegate Mr. Wilson observed the classes in session on “JA Economics of Staying in School” at Shuvatara School. According to him, the programs were full of practical activities, and students are found to be taking keen interest. And thus programs are found to be quite effective.

JA Nepal conducted a Graduation Ceremony on

“JA Success Skills” for 151 BBA students of Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) on May 30, 2007 in KCM premises, Gwarkho, Lalitpur

The chief guest of the ceremony was Ms.Sharon Hudson-Dean, Deputy Director of American Center, American Embassy, Kathmandu, Nepal and she has been kind enough to distribute the certificates to the graduating students of JA Success Skills in the ceremony.
